At Contemporary Istanbul 2019, diyalog took part with the Mahalla Festival and presented at the Istanbul Art Fair art works by three young female artists: Nora Byrne, Pınar Derin Gençer, Mathilde Melek An.
Former artist in residence in Istanbul from Austria Iris Andraschek displays her work for the first time in the frame of parallel events of the 16th Istanbul Biennial.
DIYALOG participated into the workshop Opening Communities to Newcomers at the Balsillie School of International Affairs in Waterloo, Canada, with a presentation of the Mahalla Festival and a screening of In The Dark Times.
DIYALOG organized the Mahalla Festival in Malta in cooperation with the Museum MUZA (Muzew Nazzjonali tal-Arti), Heritage Malta, the African Media Association Malta, Contemporary Valletta, Studio 87 and Sustainable Design Collective Malta.
Within the context of Contemporary Istanbul 2018, the diyalog association partnering with arthereistanbul will take part in the Mahalla Festival 2018 and present five artists from the arthereistanbul program at the Istanbul Art Fair for the second year running to highlight the importance of “Diyalog” (dialogue) between artists and cultural influencers.
